Yet More Coffee Health Claims and I Love the Language!

25 January 2018

From time to time I have blogged about the health benefits attributed to tea, coffee and chocolate.

Usually the latest research or advice is presented in a way that the typical consumer can understand what and why there is a positive effect from a given consumption.  So, try getting your grey matter around this latest pronouncement linked to coffee drinking via the European Journal of Nutrition.

I waded through the whole article which contains abbreviations including; (CVD) cardiovascular, (HHQ) hydroxyhydroquinone, (CGAs) chlorogenic acids, or (ED) endothelial dysfunction.

The article summary is as follows; “Coffee with a high content of chlorogenic acids and low content of hydroxyhydroquinone improves postprandial endothelial dysfunction in patients with borderline and stage 1 hypertension.

Lets just leave it that a great cup of fresh brew coffee from a Flavia Creation 500 drinks machine may just help with your general health and wellbeing!!
