Being very much from the “Baby Boomer” generation myself it’s perhaps no wonder that some product offerings from Nestlé claimed to be targeting Millennials over the past couple of years have passed me by!
The KitKat® brand have rotated different flavours with last years offering being the KitKat® CHUNKY New York Cheesecake bar claiming a 70% purchase intent rating with Millennials, which I guess means they liked it. Never even registered on my confectionary radar though.
Prior to this the 2016 offering was for a Cookie Dough flavoured KitKat® CHUNKY bar; again, news to me and not something that would have appealed to my taste buds.
Today though I am right up to speed and can announce the imminent arrival of the 2018 Millennial targeted flavour which is………………. KitKat Salted Caramel Fudge, again in Chunky bar format. Now I may be twice the age of the most mature of millennials but this is an offering I think will appeal to all.
